Case study
A mission structure for a practical household task.
The Decluttering Protocol places physical and digital organisation inside a Jedi Archives interface with training modules, missions and progress.
The practical task underneath the theme
The modules cover containers, visible areas, decision questions, the layers of daily mess and full removal. The themed titles organise practical decluttering material rather than replacing it with a game detached from the task.
Choose a bounded mission
The mission screen lets a visitor choose a time allocation and a target sector. The available durations range from a five-minute task to an hour, turning a broad intention to tidy into a bounded activity.
Support the activity while it happens
The mission view contains a timer, objectives, Pause and Complete controls. Training and academy sections remain separate from the active mission, so the interface distinguishes learning a method from doing the work.
A second track for digital habits
Completing the five training modules unlocks the Mastery section, which introduces a 30-day digital decluttering process drawn from Cal Newport. The physical approach is credited to Dana K. White. Theme, rank and progress cues organise the activity; they are not a measure of real-world improvement.
