Case study
Explore a motivational profile, then find a technique.
Octalysis Explorer connects the eight Core Drives with a visual simulator and a searchable strategy deck.
From framework to working reference
A conceptual model becomes more useful when its parts can be compared and revisited. The dashboard puts the eight drives into a radar chart and provides sliders for trying different profiles.
Connect an overview to its detail
Chart points select a drive, and Previous Drive and Next Drive controls provide another route through the same material. The selected drive is paired with details and highlighted techniques.
Browse beyond the first examples
The Full Deck view supports search and filtering by drive, with techniques also organised by ID. This connects a high-level motivational profile to specific techniques without forcing the visitor to read the whole deck in sequence.
Credit the framework
The public tool credits Yu-kai Chou’s Octalysis framework and the Octalysis Group. Lorenzo’s contribution here is the educational web interface that helps people explore that material.
