shape clusters, by 2 to 4
words at the time.
Most people can only decode
4-5 pairs before needing a
break.
So, if you want to
make your audience
read your captions.
Don't write stressful
paragraphs like this:
This is only a sample paragraph to demonstrate how difficult and time-consuming it is to read this lengthy material. It's difficult for the human eye to scan, and we don't want to read this material from the start. And I well understand how awful it is. Thank you for your time.
Do group text into 3-5 pairs
like this:
